Ruaha National Park: A Vast Wilderness in Southern Tanzania

Ruaha National Park is a vast wildlife area in Southern Tanzania, west of Iringa. Covering 20,226 square kilometres, it is Tanzania’s second-largest national park. The park is known for its elephants, lions, African wild dogs, diverse landscapes, baobabs and the Great Ruaha River, making it a distinctive destination for a Southern Tanzania safari.
